Sirvart K. Syl Bedrosian

 

A true food pioneer since 1956, Syl has been on the cutting edge of technologies with an impressive 

list  of  firsts  and  credits.   Starting  with teaching  freezing-techniques  (to replace canning) through 

developing    instant   foods,  she   believes  the  future   in   aquaculture,  hydroponics  and   applied 

biotechnology.   A long  advocate  of  yogurt and grains  (Grandma called it roughage ).    An  original 

member of Liptons Cup-a-Soup team, she holds 4 food patents. 

 

Through The Ceres Food Society  a non-profit, Syl shares common goals with other non-profits in addressing critical food related challenges, including obesity, diabetes and lactose intolerance.

Grandson Steven motivated Syl to study and launch Pampered Pet Pantry for  the holistic caring and feeding of dogs.

 

 A resident of Daytona Beach, Syl is a Stephen Minister and a Hospice volunteer.   She relaxes with bridge, gardening and enjoys a quick pick-up game of tennis whenever time allows.
